What Sets Us Apart?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is proven to be the most effective therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders (i.e., intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, ADHD, and brain injury). At Assured Behavior Consultants, LLC, we specialize in providing Early Intervention ABA therapy to children between the ages of 2 and 6 years throughout Orange County CA, Portland OR, and underserved communities worldwide via state-of-the-art translated telehealth services. We also provide parent coaching and behavior support to parents or caregivers with typical-developing children, who still need help with their problem behaviors such as tantrums, refusal to follow directions, aggression, and any other behavior that causes issues in-home or their school. We understand that parenting can be challenging, which is why it is our goal to work closely with parents and caregivers to provide meaningful and lasting change in their child's behavior.

Our in-person ABA services are provided in the home, community, school, and the programs are individually tailored to meet our clients' specific needs. Our Telehealth services are provided to families in rural areas or other countries who do not have access to ABA providers or are looking for high-quality ABA services. We are a small agency by design, which allows us to focus on the quality of therapy over the number of clients. Unlike other ABA agencies that constantly turn-over employees, we deliberately keep small caseloads. Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs) build long-term trusting relationships with our clients, their families, and teachers, leading to better results through consistent services delivery. We utilize proven, evidence-based strategies coupled with ABA compliant, ethical practices when designing and executing treatment plans. We aim to increase the child's repertoire of functional and age-appropriate skills while reducing their challenging behaviors.

We recognize that no family or insurance carrier is the same. Thus, we utilize both sole-provider and tiered service-delivery models. The delivery model we employ is determined by the family's need, the child's level of functioning, insurance carrier, and therapy provider availability. In a sole-provider model, ABA therapy is delivered by the authorized ABA supervisor (BCBA). In a tiered service-delivery model, the child receives ABA therapy from a highly trained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supervised by a BCBA. We are happy to work with you to determine the best possible service delivery solution for your family.
Owner/Executive Director
Lila Zarei, MA, BCBA
Lila Zarei is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the founder of Assured Behavior Consultants, LLC, with over ten years of direct experience in the ABA field. Lila's interest in behavioral health began while she was completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology and spent time volunteering with patients in a psychiatric hospital, which she found enriching and rewarding. Shortly after that, she turned her focus to individuals with developmental disorders, especially children with autism. After several years as a therapist in the ABA field, Lila chose to continue her education with a master's degree in Special Education with Autism Specialization from the nationally recognized program at San Diego State University (SDSU). After graduating from SDSU, she pursued and completed her board certification (BCBA). Lila has worked with individuals of all ages and diagnoses such as autism, down syndrome, and brain injury with expertise in early intervention, where she has had success with the most challenging cases. Her greatest satisfaction comes from creating a fun and enjoyable experience for the child while improving their functional and living skills. Lila has experience working with clients in the home, school, and community environments, which she believes facilitates stimulating engagement. Lila's programs are rooted in the belief that each child is special, and their developmental programs should be unique and special too.
