What Sets Us Apart?

At Assured Behavior Consultants, LLC, we specialize in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a well-established and highly effective intervention for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders. Our expertise is centered on providing Early Intervention ABA therapy tailored to children aged 2 to 6. We take pride in serving families in the areas of Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Furthermore, we offer comprehensive support, including parent coaching and behavior assistance, for parents or caregivers dealing with typically developing children who exhibit challenging behaviors such as tantrums, defiance, aggression, or other disruptive actions that impact both home life and school. We understand that parenting can be a demanding journey and are dedicated to addressing the challenges it presents. Our primary objective is to collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to facilitate meaningful and enduring positive changes in their children's behavior. Our in-person ABA services are thoughtfully provided in the home, community, and school, with programs individually tailored to meet our clients' specific needs. Additionally, our Telehealth services are extended to families in rural areas or other countries without access to ABA providers, seeking high-quality ABA services.

What sets us apart is our deliberate choice to maintain small caseloads, prioritizing the quality of therapy over the sheer number of clients. At Assured Behavior Consultants, LLC, we place great emphasis on building long-term, trusting relationships with our clients, their families, and teachers. This approach leads to better results through consistent service delivery. We utilize proven, evidence-based strategies along with ABA-compliant, ethical practices when designing and executing treatment plans. Our ultimate goal is to increase the child's repertoire of functional and age-appropriate skills while concurrently reducing challenging behaviors. We understand that every family and insurance carrier is unique. Therefore, we offer both sole-provider and tiered service-delivery models, based on the family's needs, the child's level of functioning, the insurance provider, and therapy availability. In the sole-provider model, ABA therapy is delivered by the authorized ABA supervisor (BCBA). In the tiered service-delivery model, the child receives ABA therapy from a highly trained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the supervision of a BCBA. We are here to collaborate with you to determine the best service delivery solution for your family.

Assured Behavior Consultants, LLC is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disorders and their families. Our tailored ABA therapy and unwavering support reflect our dedication to achieving positive outcomes for every family we serve.

Owner/Executive Director
Lila Zarei, MA, BCBA

Lila Zarei is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the founder of Assured Behavior Consultants, LLC, with over a decade of direct experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Lila's journey into behavioral health began during her undergraduate studies in Psychology when she volunteered with patients in a psychiatric hospital. She found this experience to be enriching and rewarding.

Shortly afterward, her focus shifted towards individuals with developmental disorders, especially children with autism. After several years working as a therapist in the ABA field, Lila decided to further her education. She earned a master's degree in Special Education with a specialization in Autism from the nationally recognized program at San Diego State University (SDSU). Following her graduation from SDSU, she pursued and achieved her board certification (BCBA).

Lila's extensive experience covers individuals of all ages and diagnoses, including autism, Down syndrome, and brain injuries. Her expertise is particularly prominent in the field of early intervention, where she has achieved success with some of the most challenging cases. Her greatest satisfaction comes from creating a fun and enjoyable experience for children while simultaneously enhancing their functional and life skills.

Lila has worked with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments, believing that this diversified approach fosters engaging and stimulating interactions. She firmly believes in the principle that each child is unique, and their developmental programs should be just as unique and special.

“If they can’t learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn.” — O. Ivar Lovaas
